			July begins on it's usual high note. The Fourth of July holiday falls on a Friday this year so there won't much work getting done after Wednesday. Virgos and Capricorns will keep their well-sanded noses to the grindstone until the last minute, but the rest of us will be GONE! Helping them get all of that work done, is the move of motivation planet Mars into Virgo on Tuesday the 1st at about 12:30 p.m. This move makes us all a tad more practical and analytical about the holiday (Should I buy premium beer or Natty Bo?) But seriously, Mars in Virgo can help us get down to brass tacks with trimming a lot of unecessary expenses. We should all heed its call over the next month and a half (July 1 to August 18th) while it lends its laser vision to our budgets. The New Moon in Cancer on Wednesday the 2nd is another high point of the week which takes place at about 10:15 p.m. This is the third SuperMoon of 2008, meaning that the moon is closer to the Earth than usual, making it appear about 1/16 larger than normal and giving it a stronger effect upon our health and our emotions. This New Moon asks us to reflect upon what we require for our nurturing and what blocks us in our growth. (Sometimes these are one and the same thing!) Super nurturing Venus in Cancer aligns with this New Moon and exactly opposes masculine Jupiter in Capricorn. With two against one in the Moon's corner, the message is: "Get in touch with your feminine side and relax into summer. Let your hair down this week and just BE."      On the 2nd and 3rd, Mercury (planet of communications) also squares Uranus (planet of sudden events and insights.) This planetary standoff dislodges useful and innovative insights on a situation we have been contemplating since the Mercury Retrograde (May 26th-June 19th). Ideas we might have considered too radical or risky before now, suddenly seem to make sense AND we are willing to take a chance on them. The trine of Mercury in Gemini to Neptune (planet of spirit which is currently residing in the sign of Aquarius--the sign of the brilliant strategist) opens our minds to new ways in which to forgive ourselves and others. Since Saturn first went into Virgo on September 3rd of 2007, most of us have been harboring an usual load of accumulated shame and guilt. Virgo is always blaming itself for everything. Your best days at work this month are the 8th and 9th with the moon in Libra, the 14th and 15th with the moon in your sign, the 16th and 17th with the moon in Capricorn and the 23rd and 24th with the moon in Aries. Your best social days are the Fourth of July weekend with the moon in joyous Leo, the Scorpio and Sadge moon "adventure" weekend of the 12th and 13th and the practical Taurus/Gemini moon weekend of the 26th and 27th. CAPRICORN: December 21-January 19: July can be a difficult time of year for the Seagoat. The Cancer sun opposes your own causing you to feel somewhat low energy between the 1st of July and the 21st. The New Moon in Cancer on Wednesday the 2nd imparts the important message that we all need to take better care of ourselves this month. As the workaholic of the zodiac, no one deserves a vacation more than Capricorn! You know that you will be back up to speed again in the fall, making things happen. Now is your time to relax and rejuvenate so that you can be your best then. One of your best days at the office this month is the 7th with the moon in Virgo harmonizing with Jupiter in your sign. This is a great day to ask for a raise or to set a business meeting. Node and Chiron in your sign has shown you that you can be wounded by work that you perceive to be for the betterment of the community. This wound cuts deep and you should cut back on your volunteerism, your metaphysical involvements AND your salaried work in order to find your center again. The Cancer New Moon on Wednesday the 2nd imparts a clear message: nuture yourself. The combination of the earth and water sign moons will relax you tremendously. The Full Moon in Capricorn on the 18th does not present any real roadblocks. Take some time on this day to re-evaluate your responsibilities. How are you spreading yourself too thin? What duties can you eliminate to make your schedule more manageable?
